Gamification

UX/UI Designer, Game Designer, Art Director

I've been experimenting with gamified design since the beginning of my career. However, my first large and complex project came in 2019, when I was a team leader. It was the first game project not only for me, but also for the whole team. It was an ambitious challenge for all of us because we had to learn a lot on the go. So our curiosity and willingness to grow was the engine of the project. We ended up with a huge multi-level game with three custom characters, over 20 illustrated scenes, and lots of animations. Yes, we weren't looking for an easy way.

Since then, I have made dozens of different games with different mechanics and occasions: runners, puzzles, postcard makers for Christmas Eve, memos, different arcades, and more.

Today it has become a complete department with a great experience and knowledge base. It contributes about 6% to the company's revenue. It also helps gamification in emails to go beyond with unique ideas and mechanics for the market.

First drafts of game mechanics
An overview of game mechanics related to ecology, tied to specific user actions in real life through in-app interaction.
Design of a gamified educational portal about dermatological diseases for cosmetologists as part of a brand loyalty program for cosmetology. For this design, a series of 3D models (inspired by the style of Zaha Hadid) were created from scratch to metaphorically represent a specific skin condition.
A mock gamification concept for a client referral program that is designed to demonstrate how else you can earn a referral bonus amount, if not through recommending a friend.
An outline of a tiered game system with activation as the user passes through previous levels, and the levels are released like a TV series, so customers tend to come back to the app from time to time.
